Brief.
Part of FilmPEI’s Film4Ward program, North Homard is a short comedy set in a fictional coastal town on Prince Edward Island. I worked as Production Designer and Set Decorator, collaborating directly with the director, producers, writers, and editor to establish the film’s distinct visual identity.
Design Approach.
Developed visual guidelines and designed sets that captured the town’s humour and eccentric charm. From colour palettes to carefully sourced props, every choice was made to enhance the comedic tone and ground the story in a believable yet whimsical setting. Close collaboration with the wider creative team ensured the visual storytelling stayed cohesive throughout production.
